The Chef of Bistrot del Mar
Davy Buonomo is from Sète and a former rugby player. Before opening Bistrot del Mar in 2018, the Chef took on numerous challenges: running a Bodega in Nîmes, taking over a beach restaurant in Le Lavandou, and setting up a shellfish shop in the heart of Le Lavandou.
Since opening his semi-gastronomic restaurant, the Chef has continuously put his knowledge into practice, sharing his passion for food and his love for Mediterranean cuisine.
In every fish dish and seafood platter, you'll find a passion that animates his creations, his vocation for the restaurant business, his affection for fine ingredients, and his sincerity.
The attachment to the Mediterranean and to fine produce is passed down from generation to generation: the Chef's grandfather was a fisherman on the Thau Lagoon.
